Job Description
Consumer Media Network is looking for a smart, driven content creator for an entry-level position with potential for growth. This position requires someone who’s equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and who can adapt with ease to new projects. If you can work without being micromanaged, craft engaging and clean copy, and get along well with others, then we want you.
Our writers create a variety of research-based articles across a family of websites devoted to the ins and outs of online education, insurance, and other consumer areas. We’re looking for writers who can bring personality and snap to multiple topics, and who are comfortable with researching financial, legal, and educational topics and synthesizing their findings in a helpful, easy-to-read format. Primary duties also include generating article ideas and editing pieces for quality. Deadlines vary by project, so time-management skills are a must. Familiarity with HTML and AP Style is nice but not required. This is a full-time position with benefits and a starting salary of $35,000.
