Job Description

Small children’s book publisher seeking freelance artist to illustrate storybook. We are looking for bright, full color illustrations that are whimsical and fun. Seeking someone who is creative and easy to work with. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet simultaneous demands. Solid understanding of printing and production processes helpful but not required. Will be expected to prepare pages for printer including scans, crops, bleeds, and uploading files to FTP site. Book is expected to be 32-40 pages long. Project is expected to take up to 6 months. $100 per illustration. Copyright will belong to publishing company.
