Freelance Freelance Web Designer Wanted(Virtual)
Job Description
A US based company is looking to hire on an as-needed basis a freelance web designer who we can outsource website programming projects to.
We need someone who can design for various collateral materials, but mostly web. So obviously,
you’ll need a strong understanding of the web development side of things. (The ability to code is a plus, but not required.)
Details include the following:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
– We expect nothing less than HTML, CSS and PHOTOSHOP mastery from applicants. Experience with PHP, MYSQL or WORDPRESS is even sweeter.
– Strong concept development and graphic design ability (in web and print media)
– Must have basic graphic design knowledge and ability to supplement web design with graphics, buttons, photos, etc.
– Graphic design, Flash animation & actionscript (preferred)
– Web Development in PHP & MySQL (preferred)
– Experience in developing content management system (CMS)
– Established portfolio that displays strong conceptual and execution skills, including graphic design, typography and color theory
KEY SKILLS:
– Good verbal and written English communication skills a MUST!
– Able to work on multiple projects (Good organizational and time management skills)
– Able to self-manage and work within time deadlines.
– Great work ethic, with ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and respond to requests
– MUST be able to complete project on time and within budget
Our company specializes in working with our agents to help them with their marketing, including website development.
We will obtain projects occasionally and can give them to you to complete. Job details are as follows:
– Content provided for you from client
– Average website should take approximately 12-16 hours to complete, depending on your speed
– Your job is to create the website in a time-sensitive manner
– You can work remotely
