Job Description

New Hanover Regional Medical Center is seeking a freelance web designer/programmer to provide freelance support to its marketing and public relations department. Hours will vary depending upon work load. Interested applicants should have experience in designing and building web sites and experience with social media. Good writing skills are also important. Applicant will work closely with the manager of marketing and the web site coordinator. In addition to developing content and building pages, assistance is needed to monitor existing sites for broken links, add hyperlinks and update content to keep pages current. Applicant will also have the opportunity to work on other web based strategies such as e-newsletters, blogs, streaming video, micro-sites and online health screenings. Knowledge of SOE is important.
