NuzzApp, the Gulf Coasts newest e-news platform for Smartphone, iPhone, iPad, Android and Tablet devices has launched in the Mobile area. We are looking for forward thinking people who want to be a part of the way news will be delivered in the future. Full Time, Part-Time and Freelance Pay Per Story positions are now available. Students and Retired Journalists and those who have always wanted to write professionally or as a second or part time career are also encouraged to apply.

You should be familiar with researching and writing daily news stories and have a command of writing local and feature news stories. You should also possess excellent communication skills, strong writing skills, a understanding of journalism practices and a understanding of technology as it relates to handheld smartphone and tablet devices. Before applying, please download NuzzApp from the iTunes or Android App store to get a feel of the type of news reporting and writing skills that will be expected.

While we welcome all types of applicants, those that want to bring the old methods and baggage of the printed newspaper newsrooms with them should not apply as we are looking for people that want to change the way news is delivered now and into the future.
