Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking two or more part-time blog writers to contribute to our corporate blog. We require approximately one blog entry per writer per week.

Please note: We’re not looking for Search Engine Optimisation experts.

We are seeking seasoned industry professionals with experience within the IT sector and a focus on the enterprise. You will be required to develop articles that offer a mix of original insight as well as commentary on 3rd party blogs, press releases, white papers, reports and industry news.

Ideally, we need two writers – one with a technical focus, and one with a business focus. Topics to be covered relate to mobile (smartphone, tablet, rugged, kiosk) and cloud (eCommerce, eLearning, websites, web apps) and will cover products, market trends and general opinion pieces.

Potential blog titles with a technical focus could be:
– Ensuring enterprise security for iOS applications
– Airwatch v Afaria – two MDM solutions compared

Potential blog titles with a business focus could be:
– Gartner predict eCommerce sales to double in 2012
– BlackBerry OS 10 – the enterprise smartphone?

– Our blogs are read by our customers (business professionals) and others in the industry

ABOUT YOU

– You are passionate about new and emerging technology
– You have good knowledge of mobile technologies including iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone
– You have excellent English and perfect grammar (all articles must be in Australian English)
– You have an ability to produce quality, engaging content, creative headlines, and snappy titles
– Your work is always 100% original (and never shared with other clients) and double-triple checked before submission
– You are driven, creative and able to deliver on time
