Freelance Website Designer (Part time / Freelance / telecommuting avail.)
Job Description
Virtual Ruckus, a rapidly growing web design agency, is seeking an experienced website designer to work on either a part time or per project basis. Telecommuting option is available, which will allow you to work where and when you want. We are seeking a motivated, creative thinker who will take a proactive approach and meet our visual design and user experience standards.
Requirements:
– Passion for web design, and at minimum several years of web design experience
– Impressive portfolio which demonstrates your top notch web design skills
– Understanding of user experience and UI best practices and guidelines
– Expertise in Adobe Photoshop
Pluses (not required):
– Knowledge in CSS/HTML/XHTML/jQuery & “Slicing” designs
– Experience with vector graphics
– Experience with wireframing/prototyping
– Experience working directly with clients
– Experience with WordPress/ExpressionEngine/E-commerce platforms
