WEB DESIGNER

LongTail Video is recruiting for a freelance Web Designer. We are looking for a creative, driven, and forward-thinking individual to help guide the design, layout and UX of our website and web applications.

In This Role You Will:

• Play an important role in the design and management of our website, support site, and web applications.
• Design various promotions and landing pages for our products.
• Redesign entire sections of the site, and manage site updates.
• Have an opportunity to focus on application design and UI interaction.
• Collaborate with the product development team to develop wireframes, improve site IA, and optimize user experience

Requirements

• Passion for web design, with a focus on data driven results
• Motivated, self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Standards-Based, Table-Free HTML/CSS
• 2-4 years experience with front-end web development, specifically JavaScript and/or Flash AS3
• Comfort working in JavaScript, jQuery and PHP
• Familiarity with CMS systems such as Drupal or WordPress
