Job Description
NJI Media, an interactive agency, seeks a design intern to work in its Alexandria, VA [Old Town] office.This paid internship will give candidates plenty of hands-on experience in the world of graphic and web design, online communications and web development.We want the kind of person looking to work in a fast-moving environment where the quality of the work is paramount, and the opportunity to grow is huge. Expect to work hard and have lots of fun at the same time.
Technical Requirements:
Photoshop is a must
Bonus Points: Illustrator, InDesign, Pages and/or Final Cut Pro experience
Intern responsibilities include:
Dreaming up good, creative ideas for clients.
Creating design elements for client websites.
Assisting our designers with client design and interactive requests.
Helping front office with occasional administrative tasks
.We are looking for an individual with a strong grasp of branding and a portfolio with design examples. This individual must have the ability to create graphics for print and digital media.
