Freelance Visual/Web Designer
Job Description
As a Visual/Web Designer in the marketing team you’ll get to work on a number of initiatives at Zoho. The most important one is our main website and product sites, which get millions of visits a month. You’ll also work with our marketing agency in creating banners and other online ads. While most of our marketing happens online, you will also be tasked with creating online/print collateral and other off-line items.
You should be proficient in all the major design tools. While deep HTML/CSS knowledge is not required, it is certainly a plus. You’ll be expected to develop it over time. You should be comfortable working on both design concepts and the execution of those concepts.
Aside from your resume and cover letter, please include a link to your online portfolio with any past work (hobby, freelance, internship).
This position requires some (10-15%) overseas travel. Make sure you have a passport!
Minimum requirements:
– Strong design sense for clean layout and navigation.
– Experience creating landing pages
– Exceptional attention to detail
– Knowledge/experience with online analytics and testing tools a plus
– 1-3 Years of experience working in a similar position, but if you’re talented and passionate, we’re open to new grads too.
