Job Description
Interactive company seeking a Search Marketing Manager.
In this role you’ll be responsible for increasing traffic to web properties by creating a strategy for the enhancement of the property’s performance, understanding the nature of the content, the intended audience and the overall objectives. These include growth in page views, visits, unique visitors and continuous improvement in rank. You will need to analyze:
*Site traffic and reports
*Trends and changes to search algorithms
*Site Architecture, identifying spider blocks
*Existing pages
This position will have heavy contact with team leaders with whom you’ll be discussing your overall strategy and presenting findings.
Ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of SEO experience with a high volume website or agency. A thorough understand of SEO and site architecture best practices is key. You will need experience writing functional specs and wireframes. Must have worked with Omniture and/or Google Analytics with an understanding of HTML.
