Freelance Graphic Designer Wanted
Job Description
We are looking for a talented “freelance” designer to work remotely on a per project basis (this is a non-salary position). Our ideal candidate will be well-versed in rendering, laser-cutting, 3D printing, model making, sketching, architecture, interior design, print production, graphic layout, exhibit design and custom fabrication. Must be accustomed to thinking creatively and outside of the box as well as performing in deadline–driven environments with close attention to details.
Required Duties:
• Be detail oriented
• Possess strong organization and communication skills
• Possess superb design and graphic abilities
• Experience in all stages of the design process
• 3D visualization and physical modeling for job proposals
• Ability to design High-End Retail display projects and product designs for luxury brands such as Bvlgari, Ferragamo, Loius Vuitton, Tiffany, etc.
• Use CAD and 2-D Graphics software (Adobe Creative Suite) to develop and conceptualize the design of display items and interior spaces for high-end clients
• Detail appropriate production and construction method for given project use 3D software to realistically model and render display pieces, and room interiors
• Producing construction drawings for ongoing projects in various phases including schematic, design development and construction
• Using modeling software to design furniture, light fixtures, interiors and architectural spaces for ongoing projects
• Performing site surveys, by measuring and photographing active job sites
• Participating in design and budget driven client meetings
• Product research and specification
Software Requirements:
MAC & PC Modeling Software: Auto-Cad, Vectorworks, Revit, Microstation, Ecotect, Maya, Rhino, 3ds Max Rendering: Vray, Mentalray, Maxwell Computer Graphics: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Quark
