Freelance Freelance Web Developer – Contract Position for Local Web Business
Job Description
A local deal and advertising website is seeking a freelance web developer to take care of some extra development tasks. We’d like to start out with a few more simple features, pay for each as they are completed, and grow our relationship. We’re looking for someone who:
-Has strong experience with PHP, both OOP and Functional. Our application sits on a traditional LAMP stack, you should have knowledge in how that works.
-Has the ability to jump into an existing codebase with minimal disruption.
-Has some public code we can take a look at, a Github or Bitbucket profile.
-Is experienced in using SVN.-Is available for 10 to 20 hours of work a week. If you’re available for more time, that’s great but we can’t promise to fill it.
-Is located in the Twin Cities area, and would be available to meet with us periodically. We work and meet remotely, but getting together in person is very valuable.
Right now we’re looking for some temporary help adding features and fixing bugs, but if you’re in working with some great people on a bootstrapped project, we’d love to talk about that too. If you’re interested, reply back with some code, a brief description of your web development history and experience level, and what times you’d be available to talk.
