Job Description
Accelerate Media is looking for an experienced freelance programmer to augment our core team of developers during periods of peak demand. This would not be a full time position, nor would it entail regular weekly hours. Workflow is dependent upon need, as determined from week to week.
The Freelance Programmer would be required to work onsite most of the time, but there may be some flexibility depending on the needs of the project.
We are looking for a well-rounded programmer with at least five years of work experience, and the ability to step in and perform with very little ramp-up time. Motivated self-starters are definitely preferred.
These are the must-haves:
- Experience with MySQL and relational databases.
- Experience using PHP Frameworks with an MVC architecture, Yii experience preferred
Also highly desired:
- Knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript a plus.
- Ability to administer web server settings
- Facebook API development experience
- Mobile App development experience
- CSS3 and HTML5 experience
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience. Chance for full time employment with benefits is there as workflow builds.
