VS+Company is a New York City based creative agency, specializing in artist representation, creative services, fine art restoration, retouching and printing services. VS + Company is seeking a dedicated individual to assist a very busy Creative Director. This position requires a discerning eye for detail and a clean, modern aesthetic sensibility. This job requires an individual who is highly organized, collaborative, and proficient with the latest design software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the creation and organization of design templates
Setting up Illustrator templates
Retouching
Image research
File preparation for all projects
Management + maintenance of visual asset library
Work collaboratively with Creative Director, agency and project manager
Tracking comp progress
Packing and shipping materials for messengers
REQUIREMENTS
1+ years working in a design/production capacity
Discriminating aesthetic sensibility and deep understanding of layout, typography and design principles
Experience with image compression, file correction, and optimization techniques
Uncompromising attention to detail
Ability to manage one’s own time efficiently and productively
Experience in print, web, product design, package design, motion graphics file preparation + design
Proficient in Photoshop InDesign and Illustrator
Proficient in HTML + Dreamweaver
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional ability to multitask
Ability to take direction from others and successfully work within a team environment
Natural inclination to organization and cleanliness
Bachelor’s Degree in design
