Job Description
High-end floral design & event production company seeks a freelance SEO/SEM specialist to work with our internal marketing team. The ideal candidate is proactive and able to work independently. He/she must have superior writing and communication skills as well as exceptional organization and ability to meet deadlines. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
– Coordinate, create, implement & maintain SEO strategy for company website.
– Strive to proactively suggest optimizations and develop our website via A/B testing, finding new ways to improve copy and ultimately driving for optimized goal conversion
– Management of Google Analytics account, including setting up goal conversions & advanced segments
– Weekly Conversion & Traffic Summary Reports
– Communicating with Marketing Manager and Website Developer to implement work
– Optimize and edit press releases, websites, and other marketing related items
– Find new places to advertise & build links utilizing modern techniques such as videos and info-graphics
– Build links using a URL Tracking Builder to measure success of particular efforts
– Familiarity with an open source CMS, based on kohana
Requirements:
– SEO Experience (2 years or more)
– Experienced in Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, and Adwords
– Knowledge of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, as well as blogging tools such as WordPress
– Able to meet deadlines and help the team meet the deadlines you set in place for them
– Excellent project & account management skills
– Proficient communicator
– Team player and proactive worker
– Produce up to date accurate SEO in order to impact the team positively
– Ability to multi-task and liaison between different departments in the office
– Understand keyword research, link structure, website architecture, SEO &
PPC, domain registration, phone tracking, analytics installation if needed
– Ability to work independently & remotely
