Ubiqus Reporting Inc. is a New York, NY-based company specializing in document services, with a nation-wide base of freelance transcription service providers. We are currently looking to increase our roster of experienced corporate, legal and medical transcriptionists. This is a work-from-home, freelance position.

The ideal legal transcription candidate will have experience in legal transcription or court reporting. Corporate transcription is less specialized and more generalized, and for medical transcription, it should be noted that we primarily deal with seminar and interview audio, rather than physician dictation. Audio for each transcription project is downloaded electronically from us, so a stable, high-speed Internet connection is essential. The ability to work well under pressure and strict time constraints is recognized. For qualifying applicants there will be a transcription test administered. Certain equipment such as a headset and foot pedal is strongly recommended to have prior to starting, and the ability to deal with most formats such as Windows media (.wma, .wmv), RealPlayer (.flv), QuickTime (.mov), .wav, .aif, .mpg, and .mp3 is essential.
